Monday’s are always the hardest days of the week. I never want to wake up and go to work but sadly I have to. Today wasn’t that bad i guess. My students were restless but I can’t really expect much from the day before Halloween and tomorrow and Wednesday will be worse. I just have to push through.
My next doctors appointment is Wednesday. We are scheduling my 3rd trimester ultrasound which I’m really excited about. I love seeing my baby girl. Our 3D ultrasound is next Friday. I hope she cooperates more this time and we can actually get a better peel at her face. She will be bigger this time though. I’ll be I. The 3rd trimester on Saturday. It just kind of hit me that she will be here soon!
For breakfast I had scrambled eggs with salsa. 6g carbs.
For lunch I had a salad with bacon and blue cheese dressing. I also had 3 mini bell peppers. 9g carbs.
For dinner I have chicken with cheese and a little bit of sugar free bbq sauce. 4g carbs.
For a snack I had a couple Turkey hot dogs and pork rinds. 6g carbs.
Total carbs for the day 25g. Under my daily goal by 5g! Not too bad!
I could have drank more water through the day today. I put reminders on my phone to remind me to drink starting tomorrow so I should do better.
Well i had a rough day today. I let my emotions get the best of me and I emtionaly ate again. I have got to figure out a way to not get so upset about things. My pregnancy hormones are going crazy right now I guess. I just feel like everything is so overwhelming and I just don’t know how to deal with it. Being a new teacher is extremely stressful and on top of that I’m pregnant with my first child which I got pregnant with after a miscarriage. So I’m constantly worried about losing her. It just feels like too much to take sometimes so I deal with it like I always have with food. Me and my husband had taco bell and I did feel a little better afterwards. It is definitely no way to deal with emotions. My next doctors appointment is in 3 days. I’m hoping my weight doesn’t go up too much. I don’t want him to get on to me about how much I’ve gained again.
Tomorrow I have to do better. I know i can I just have to make myself.
26 weeks today!! I feel like the weeks are going by so slow now. Im hoping once i get to 30 weeks it will start going faster! I had a lot to do today. I woke up around 7 like I do everyday. I had to start getting one of our dogs ready for an adoption fair because sadly we can’t keep him any longer. Sadly he didn’t get adopted today. I also had to go grocery shopping and start helping my mom and sister plan my baby shower next weekend. We bought a couple decorations and ordered the cake. It’s pretty much stressing me out. Everything is stressing me out yesterday.
I did try to do more steps today. I got up to 5,300. Not even close to my 10,000 goal but better than I usually get on weekends!
For breakfast I had two strong cheese sticks. 2g carbs.
For lunch I had a chicken salad from Subway. 14g carbs
For dinner we had chipotle seasoned chicken with a little but of cheese and ranch. 13g carbs.
For a snack I had pork rinds with blue cheese dressing. 3g carbs.
Total carbs for the day 32g. Once again over my goal by 2g. So not too bad but tomorrow I need to stay under my goal.
I drank around 60oz of water today and I’m going to try and drink a little bit more before I go to bed tonight!
Well I let stress get to me yesterday and I cheated pretty much all day. I had a burger and fries for lunch, pizza and wings for dinner, and hubby did a late night run to taco bell for some tacos and a burrito. Needless to say I feel like crap today. I have 5 days until my next doctors appointment. I am hoping to at least be where I was at my past appointment by then. Yesterday I started a little count down on my phone. I wanted to see how many days until my due date. 99 days from today my little girl will be here! That is it just 99 days until my life completely changes. It’s crazy to think about. I’m nervous about being a mom but I’m honestly more excited!
Today at school we had fall parties. All that means is a lot of sugary sweets and pizza. We also had a teacher luncheon during lunch. The theme was a tour of Italy. They had all of my favorites out. It was so hard to resist! I just ended up having a salad. I did good today. It sucked at the time but now I’m proud of myself. I got through it. Even at dinner tonight my husband cheated and I still stayed on track even though cheese fries sounded really good.

Do lunch I had a salad with ranch and broccoli and baby carrots. 16g carbs.
For dinner I had a grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing. 12g carbs.
Total carbs for the day 33g carbs. Only over my goal by 3g. So not too bad it definitely could have been a lot worse!
I only had about 32oz ofc water to drink today. I’m going to drink a little bit more before so hopefully no leg cramps for me tonight!
This week is really dragging on. I don’t know if it’s because we just came back from fall break or the lack of sleep from not being able to get comfortable at night but I’m ready for it to be Friday! I have just been exhausted all week. Last night I went to bed about 11 and woke up at 2 then I was up for the rest of the day. I know it will probably be like that once Emma is born but I’m still miserable right now.
I did weigh myself this morning and I am down a couple pounds. My next doctors appointment is next Wednesday. I am hoping to at least lose a few more pounds. I have been working really hard these past few days to get back on track and get my weight under control. I refuse to gain anymore. This isn’t because of the baby anymore it’s just because I have been eating like crap for weeks. It’s so easy to give up but I’m determined for my little girl to keep going. I don’t want to 400lbs ever again!

This week is going by super slow. It is only Tuesday. We had a staff meeting where we had to present something which I hate doing. I can teach kids all long but I’m still a nervous wreck when I present to people my own age. It went okay though I’m just happy it’s over!
I weighed myself this morning and was surprised. I was down 2lbs from yesterday. Now I’m at the same weight I was at my doctors appointment last Wednesday! Hopefully I can keep this up. I know it will probably go up a little bit since I had that glucose drink yesterday. I want to see how much progress I can make over the next 8 days until my next appointment. I am tired of people telling me this diet is bad while you are pregnant. Considering people with gestational diabetes habe to do a low carb diet and I’m still get more than enough protein how is that bad? Plus my doctor said it’s okay to do as long as I keep my peorotein up.

This morning I had to retake my glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. More than likely I don’t because I passed the first time. I have just been eating like crap. I am really proud of myself for this weekend though. I stayed on track and was even tempted to cheat again but didn’t. It’s easier than I thought it would be.
Today at school was rough. I was tired and didn’t want to be here which is not usual. I love my job but today just wasn’t a good day. There were cookies in the teachers lounge and I was so tempted to eat one. I didn’t which I’m proud of. I have to learn to separate my emotions from food again. I did it before and I can definitely do it again.

I did drink a lot more water than usual today. At school I drank 48oz and at home I drank 32oz more. So 80oz for the whole day. Not bad!
