Today started off pretty good. Me and my mom went to the gym. I lost my headphones so I couldn’t listen to music. I just walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I only burned 100 calories and went 1.5 miles. Not bad I guess but me and my mom talked about a lot of stuff. It was fun. We are going to do the bikes tomorrow.
Well I still have 8lbs to go before I reach my goal. At this point I will not make it by Friday. I’m going to try and at least lose 3lbs by then so I will be at 70lbs down. I’ll get to 75lbs soon. My next big goal is going to be 100lbs down by Christmas Eve! That will be the best Christmas present I can give to myself. I’m nervous because the holidays are coming up and I know I will be super tempted!
For breakfast I had two fat bombs. .4g carbs.
For lunch I had a salad. 7g carbs.
For dinner I had a pork chop with sugar free BBQ sauce and butter. 2g carbs.
Total carbs for the day 9.4g.
Total macros for the day 2% carbs, 23% protein, and 75% fat. Met both my goals for the day.

So I only went up 2lbs from my cheat meal! I expected it to go up like 5lbs. I couldn’t be happier. I could possibly make my goal this week if I just keep my fat up. It’s tough this week though because everyone wants to take you out to eat for your birthday. I’m trying to think of a way to spend time with people but not go out to eat because I’m always tempted to cheat.
I got to back to my 5tu graders today! This morning I realized that this really is the profession for me. I was so excited to wake up and get to school this morning! I know there will be tough times but it will all be worth it at the end of the year.
I didn’t go to the gym this morning but I did walk around my house. I managed to get over 4,000 steps in before I had to get ready to go to school. Back to the gym with my mom tomorrow!

This morning I was 69lbs down! I know it will go up tomorrow because of my cheat meal yesterday but I’m going to enjoy being 69lbs down today! I know I won’t make my goal of 75lbs down by Friday but I’m going to try and get it down to 70lbs. Hopefully my weight will only go up a few pounds. I only lost 7lbs this month but considering I was stalled for a majority of the month I will take 7lbs! I only have 6lbs left to go until I am at 75lbs lost and I’m only half way through the year!
Me and my husband went to the gym today. It felt good. I have to go alone tomorrow because my mom has an early doctors appointment. We tried something different today. Instead of the elliptical we did the bicycle which was fun because we got to exercise sitting down. I kinda liked it. I went for 30 minutes. I went 7 miles and burned 285 calories. I also did the elliptical for 12 minutes. I went .83 miles and burned 161 calories. I did a few arm weights too. Pretty good day at the gym. I start going everyday again starting tomorrow.

So far I have drank 75oz of water so far. I’m going to drink another 50oz before the night is over.
I woke up at 6:30 this morning. My body is still on weekday time I guess. I had a lot to get organized before Monday anyways. I had to get my office organized a set up finally. I am going to start a notebook for my student teaching and for whole brain teaching which I am going to try with my students on Monday which I’m excited to do!
I had a cheat day for dinner. We had friends over and decided to order pizza. I’m upset that I did it because now I really won’t make my goal. I know I will get there eventually but not by next week.
This is short blog but tomorrow I’m going to get back on track and if I can at least get down to where I was today by Friday.
Today was the last back to campus day until October! I’m so happy I get to go back to my students next week and meet the new ones that came this week! I have definitely missed them!
I know I will not make my 75lbs mark by next Friday but I know I will get close. That’s really all that matters. I’m excited to weigh in on Sunday and see the progress I have made this week. I’m so happy I finally broke my stall. The macros definitely helped a lot!

I’m so happy tomorrow is the last day of campus week! Then I can really start student teaching next week! I’m excited about tomorrow night though. I get to meet my second placement teacher! She a third grade teacher. I hope she likes me!
I’m thinking about making a weekly blog about me becoming a teacher and things I find out along the way. I think it could be really fun to do. I have so many ideas and I would love to share them. I really don’t know though.
