This recipe is one of my husband’s favorite! This recipe is low carbs and delicious! This is not my recipe but I do not remember where I saw it.
When I make this recipe in bread tins. That way it’s easy cleanup afterwards so you can just throw them away when your done. This recipe only has 7.4g carbs per tin!
For one tin you will need:
2 cups ground beef
3/4 cup of cheese. I used mozzarella because that’s what I usually have in the fridge.
1/2 cup of Ragu four cheese sauce. This has two carbs for 1/4 cup. You can use this or any low carb sauce you like.
Your favorite pizza toppings. I usually just add strips of bacon on top of mine. Depending on the toppings you use it could add more carbs to it.
Now how to make the pizza casserole:
First preheat your oven to 400°. While waiting for the oven to heat start browning your ground beef.
Once you oven is heat place your bacon of a sheet tray that has been sprayed with nonstick spray on it. Then put it into the oven for 12-15 minutes. When you take it out place the bacon on paper towel to get the grease off then crumb once cool. Do not turn off your oven yet.
Now that you have everything cooked. Grab your tin and spray it with non-stick spray.
One the bottom of the tin evenly put 2 cups of ground beef. Next pour 1/2 cup of the Ragu sauce over the top of our ground beef. The next layer is the cheese evenly put the 3/4 cup of cheese over the top. Next add your favorite toppings. For mine I sprinkled crumbed bacon on top. My husband like bacon and pepperoni on his.
Now that your pizza casserole is together put it in your 400° oven for about 15-20 minutes or until your cheese is all melted!
