I cannot believe it had already been 30 days since I started! So much has changed, not only on the scale but my clothes are fitting better and I wake up every morning feeling better about myself. I’m living a healthier life small steps at a time. I will no longer let my weight control my life. I have a goal to lose 250lbs. I know I will get where I want to be I just have to keep working everyday and visualizing the end result! Everyday I wake up and do this diet and lifestyle is an NSV (non-scale victory) for me, even though seeing the numbers on the scale drop each week doesn’t hurt!
I got in the scale this morning and I’m down three pounds from last week! That makes 16lbs for the month! Limiting my dairy intake has definitely gotten me out of the stall that I was in. 16lbs does not seem like a lot but it is the most I have ever lost on any kind of diet before. This is so exciting I cannot wait to see how much I lose next month!
I was in a really big rush this morning so I did not eat breakfast.
For lunch I had a couple scrambled eggs and a salad. 12.6g carbs
For dinner we had chicken breasts wrapped in bacon..3g carbs.
Total carbs for the day were 12.9g carbs.
I didn’t drink much water today. I only drank 80oz but I’m going to drink more after I post this!
I weighed myself this morning. It’s a day early but I’m very happy with what the scale said! I’m going to wait until tomorrow to put it in a blog though. Also my husband lost 4lbs this week! I’ve noticed his face getting slimmer but men don’t want to hear that of course.
I’m happy this is working for the both of us!
I was so excited this morning I put on shirts that are usually too tight to wear and they were looser and fit like they are supposed to! I’m so happy that I found this diet! I was skeptical at first but now I’m happy I started it! Today was definitely a NSV!
I forgot breakfast this morning. I don’t know why but this diet has made me lose my appetite. I have never in my life forgot to eat until I started this diet.
For lunch I had a grilled chicken salad with jalapenos and blue cheese dressing. 9.2g carbs.
For dinner I had an omelette. 6.4g carbs.
Total for the day is 15.6g carbs!
I had 120oz of water today. I hope it enough to not retain water. I really hope the scale is the same or less then it was today!
I woke up really early to get everything ready to teach my lesson today! I’m very excited to say that the lesson turned out amazing. The kids were learning and I think they had fun with it too! Best day I have had in a classroom. I have to do it all again on Thursday.
One thing I had to do with my lesson today is record myself and I have to watch it. I absolutely hate that part because I still hate the way I look. I know I am making progress but it’s still not enough. I just want to be comfortable with the way I look. One day at a time I guess.
For breakfast I had an omelette with ham and a little guacamole on top. 2.4g carbs.
I completely forgot to eat lunch because I was busy running around!
For dinner I had two burger patties with lettuce and tomato. 4.7g carbs.
Today total is 7.1g carbs. Way under my goal of 20g carbs!
I can’t wait for weigh in day since I have been limiting my dairy intake everyday. Hopefully it will get me out of this stall I have been in for the past few weeks.
Last week was stressful and a bunch of bad stuff happened but it’s a new week and a chance to have a much better week!
I have a really busy week ahead of me! I have to teach two lessons to my class and record myself one if those times. I also have to get caught up on my hours for my practicum class. This semester is going by way too fast! In a little over a month it will be time for graduation ceremony! Even though I’m not graduating until December I will be walking in May which is exciting.
I actually slept in later then usual this morning. I slept until 7:30. I have been sleeping so much better since I started this diet. Even though it was nice to sleep in I had to rush to get ready and get out the door. I had to study for a test and I can never study at home. I had a sociology test today. But because I had to rush I did not get to eat breakfast.
I finally ate about 10:30. I had a ham and jalapeno omelette with guacamole on top. It was delicious! Breakfast had 5.1g carbs.
For lunch I had tuna salad. This had 0g carbs!
For dinner we had Taco bowls. Mine had ground beef, shredded lettuce, and guacamole. 4.4g carbs.
Total for today is 9.5g carbs! Way under my limit!
I had 144oz of water today!
I had another good night if sleep. I don’t know what’s been different these past few nights but I like it!
I worked on a smartboard presentation almost all day trying to get ready to teach on Tuesday. It turned out pretty well! I think my class will really like it!
Today is not only Easter but my moms birthday too! After church we are going to have a BBQ and make a cake for her. My sister made deviled eggs which I absolutely love! But she made it with miracle whip which has too many carbs for just one egg. So I had to pass sadly. I was also surrounded by candy and cake all day. I just wanted one piece of candy and cake! It took everything I had not to lick frosting off the side of my finger. I didn’t give in which was hard. So I guess it kind of a non-scale victory!
I didn’t have breakfast until around 1. So I guess it would be lunch. I even woke up early and just did not eat. For some reason this diet makes me not have an appetite.
But for lunch I had scramble eggs with a little bit of salsa on top. 5.4g carbs for the whole lunch.
For dinner I had 3 bunless burgers with pickles, tomatos, and mustard and 2 hot links. Dinner had 13.2g carbs.
Total for the day I had 18.6g carbs!
I didn’t drink too much water today.
I drank 67oz today.
Last night I had the best nights sleep I have had in probably a month! I really don’t know why but I did!
I woke up this morning and started to get dressed. I’m taking graduation pictures and family pictures today. So I picked up this black skirt I bought in December. When I bought it, it was really tight around my hips and thighs but I figured I could wear a long shirt over it and it would be find. I put it on this morning and it fits! It’s loose around my hips and thighs. I’m so excited! Non-scale victories are what’s keeping me going!
I went to take graduation pictures and family pictures today thanks for my mother in law. I’m still not comfortable with my body in pictures but I liked the ones she took. The pictures turned out really well!

For a late lunch I had a grilled chicken salad with jalapenos and blue cheese dressing. This has 9.6g carbs.
I wasn’t really hungry for dinner but I might make an omelette later.
I didn’t have water until later in the day which was probably a bad idea. I’ve only drank 68oz so far. I will probably drink more after I post this.

I woke up this morning determined to make it a good day! After everything that happened yesterday I needed a good day!
I was going to grocery shopping this morning but I ended up having to wait for the cable guys to come fix the cable. It literally took him 5 minutes to fix!
I finally went grocery shopping about 12. I got all my food for the week then went to my moms. Where I dyed Easter eggs with the niblings, sister and best friend! It was pretty fun.
I did not have breakfast because I needed to go grocery shopping.
For a late lunch I had a grilled chicken salad. All together it had 11.8g carbs.
For dinner we had beef stroganoff with no noodles. Dinner had 9.1g carbs.
Total all day o had 20.9g carbs.
I only drank 96oz of water today. It’s not great but not that bad either. I am going to try and do much better tomorrow.
